OUR MISSION

M.A.C.H.O. is an acronym that stands for

My Actions Can Help Others.

 

The M.A.C.H.O. Foundation aims to inspire people to think with their hearts.

We believe empathy and compassion are core values that should be at the forefront of our society, and it is our contention that every one of us possesses what we call "M.A.C.H.O. Power."  This is the power we are all born with that allows each of us to be somebody's real life superhero:

 the power that makes it possible for even the smallest gestures of goodwill or positivity to have a dramatic effect on the people and the world around us. 

 

We are promoting humanitarianism and creating an awareness that every little action, or lack thereof, counts far more than may be realized.  We are accomplishing this through our advocacy work, school assemblies, special events, designated projects, camperships, and award recognition programs.

 

We hope to embolden a culture that goes against the stream of self-interest that too often exists in modern society, and we seek to redefine the meaning of masculinity for the next generation. 

After-all, you don't have to be macho to be M.A.C.H.O.!
